I only am interested in free data backup services... otherwise why pay a monthly or EVER a 1 time fee if I could just buy an external data peripheral or device???
So from your experience, what's the best free, secure, and easy to use data back up web server on the internet?

Greetings Yahoo:
I am a home user with a fair amount of personal data (photos, music, documents), in the neighborhood of 20 gigs or so. I am looking for an online backup service, but I'd like to research several, to make a well-researched decision on who I will use. I know of carbonite and backup.com; can anyone recommend some others, and do you have personal experience with them?

I've been looking into getting a Online Storage and Backup Service for my family ever since my Drobo seemed to almost fail. If it would have stopped working so many of my family videos and photos would have been destroyed.
Anyway I've been looking into Carbonite, Mozy, iDrive, BackBlaze, JungleDisk, sugarsync, and a few others to store all my data, but I can't decide.
-Money is no object (We'd pay $1000 or more a year if it kept our files safe.)
-It must be able to import from external hard drives
-It would be used mostly to store High Definition Videos and Pictures (Think 1-3 Terabytes in size)
-It should be able to upload single small files and not just whole directories.
-It should upload fast as possible (unlike Mozy's incredibly long upload times)
-It should be able to upload from any computer in the house. (videos from my computer, Pics from my parents computer.)
-It will only be used for protection so I should be able to delete the file off my computer hard drive and it still be viable forever on the service.
-It should be a little well known as to prevent uploading everything and suddenly for them to go out of business.
What service can my family use?
